Conference on Next Generation Radio Communications & Spectrum Technologies

    Los Angeles, September 25, 2009 /Mobile Computing and PDA PR News/ -- The Association of Naval Aviation, in association with Technology Training Corporation, will host a conference on Next Generation Radio Communications and Spectrum Technologies, in Las Vegas, NV, October 26-27, 2009.

The conference brings together senior experts from OSD, the Military Services, and industry to examine the impact of radio communications for defense, homeland security and public safety. They will examine spectrum technology challenges and solutions; the latest developments in JTRS, SDR and cognitive radio technologies and applications; delivering net-centric communications and services; and the latest technologies and applications in joint tactical, software-defined, mobile wireless, broadband, WiMax and other emerging technologies.

Highlights will include presentations by Mr. Ron Jost, Deputy Assistant Secretary, C3 Space & Spectrum Programs & Policy, OSD; Mr. David Weddel, Deputy to the Deputy Chief of Naval Operations (N6), US Navy; Dr. Larry Stotts, Deputy Director, Strategic Technology Office, DARPA; Mr. Thomas Kidd, Director, Spectrum Management, Office of the Chief CIO, DON; senior communications experts from the Air Force, Navy, and Army; and many of the most respected radio experts from industry.
